At Quorning Boats we are happy to work with qualified people around the world and here at the yard in Skærbæk. We feel priveledged having worked with so many great people during 40 years of building multihulls

People make the difference

Each boat built here at the yard is built by hand by experienced boatbuilders along with all the other functions needed to produce some of the best trimarans in the world.

Jens Quorning

Managing Director (born 1962) has 30 years of professional experience - starting his apprenticeship in 1978 at Quorning Boats.

To extend his know-how in design and construction Jens worked for one of the true multihull pioneers, Dick Newick, in 1983-84.

Jens Quorning is the sole owner of Quorning Boats since he took over the company in 1996, but was already involved financially since 1991.

Jens is in charge of the sales, design, production and following up on clients. At the yard Jens personally quality checks all the boats prior delivery.

Jens is a keen sailor with captain license and has been very active on the national as well as the international race courses since 1975. Among the long list of race results, Jens was European Champion in the Microclass twice, came second in the 1985 Round Britain & Ireland Race, still holds the record Round Sealand since 1983. Jens has crossed the Atlantic and Pasific in larger multihulls, which gives him a solid background in bluewater sailing and oceancrossings.

Henrik is in charge of purchase, production, rigging shop and is helping out with both sales and test sails as well.Henrik started out as help after school in the early 80's. After having graduated from highschool, Henrik started his apprenticeship at Quorning Boats in 1987, and he stayed with us ever since. Henrik has "grown" with the company.
