Best Boats 2008

The US based Sail Magazine has appointed our Dragonfly 35 one of the top boats 2008. They call attention to the interior space as well as the finish of the boat

Likewise the magazine calls attention to the unique SwingWing folding system, with a single winch powered line. Further, the jury was quite impressed by the special innovative cockpit design and the special feature of stooring a 17ft kayak in the amas.

There was a lot to see in this year’s Best Boats fleet . Multihull designer and guru Chris White, monohull designer Jeremy Wurmfeld, and I combed the docks at the Newport and Annapolis sailboat shows in search of boats worthy of SAIL’s Editors’ Choice awards for innovation and overall excellence.
